Faith Medical Services is Hiring a PCA Personal Care Assistant (Bilingual) Near Marietta, GA
Female client (21yrs) with Angelman Syndrome, seizure disorder, and intellectual disabilities. She is incontinent and nonverbal. She communicates with smiles, laughs, frowns, and body language. She previously ambulated with a walker but has progressed and she can now ambulate without assistance. She requires one on one attention and consistent prompting. The client requires assistance with all ADL's. She requires assistance with eating because she can not use utensils independently. She will typically smile and laugh when happy. If she is upset or not feeling well, she will frown and consistently vocalize "hum". She loves songs from the Lion King, and she likes to hang out in her bedroom.
40 hours/week of personal care support services. M-F 9-5pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
